The clients are MS-Windows based application running on a Novell Netware LAN. The clients provide the user with an interface for conventional telephony services like dialing, holding, conferencing, consultation etc. In addition to these services extended services like Boss Secretary, wake up services, neighbor monitoring, call routing, Personal and Shared directory assistance and central call logging are also provided by the application. The server part of the application resides on the Novell telephony server and coordinates the clients in the system. It also provides them with call logging facility and operator services. The application has been designed using Object oriented Analyses and Design and implemented in MS-Visual C++ 4.0(MFC 4.0). Project: A TSAPI compliant Telephony services PBX Driver for Inforex PBX for SAMSUNG, KOREA. Duration :- 03-1996 to 08-1997 The TSAPI Driver is a NetWare NLM to provide a logical connection between the Inforex PBX and the TSAPI (Telephony Services Application Programming Interface) services TSAPI is a call level interface to provide a platform to build CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) applications in a Novell NetWare based LAN environment. The telephony requests originated by a client application running on a Novell workstation are redirected to the Tserver (Telephony server) NLM running on the Novell Server. This T-server NLM redirects these requests to the Inforex TSAPI PBX Device Drive which in-turn requests the Inforex PBX using its predefined software interface (known as infolink) over a RS-232C serial communication interface to get them executed in the actual switching domain of telephony devices. The inforex TSAPI device driver consists of multiple threads each of which performs independent tasks like handling of Tserver interface, OA&M settings, processing of TSAPI request/events which includes the TSAPI request identification to provide the appropriate message translation to the corresponding Infolink request and handling RS-232C interface between the Inforex PBX and Novell Serve. Job Responsibility : Customer Support Duration :- 06-1991 to 03-1996 As a Sr Customer Support Engineer I was responsible for the following: Job involves Installation, testing, commissioning of Key Telephony Systems CTI software. and also SMDR (Station Message Detailed Recorder - Hardware) & its pre-defined software interface (known as Call Monitoring System).The KTS will be connected to the Computer over a RS-232 serial communication interface. My job is to get them executed in actual switching domain of KTS, The SMDR Card captures detail information about the exchange and sends those to the computer about the exchange (i.e. KTS). The CMS Software, which resides as a TSR in computer, maintains a database (FoxPlus), which not only keeps the track of records but also updates the records online. All this operation takes place on a online system. The format of call tracking is incoming or outgoing call, date, time, duration and finally the charge of the call. The user can get their records extension wise, line wise, data wise, city wise as per their requirement.
