Highlights:
In high school, I received the Mac Philbrick Award for consistently giving a 110% effort in year around sports (football, basketball, track and baseball) my senior year. I was able to achieve a BS in Geology without any financial assistance even though both of my parents had already passed away. And I aided both of my younger brothers to also complete college! I received my first truck loan from the president of the Nacogdoches 1st National Bank in 1980 with a promise to make the payments and a handshake. No down-payment and no job. I never missed a payment. I have stayed with 1 company for over 25 years and raised to kids to be healthy young adults. I am also a proud grandfather. I have been STA Certified (Security Threat Assessment) by Homeland Security and the Transportation Safety Administration. I was a certified hazardoud material handler for over 20 years and was the company's Security Coordinator for the last 5 years in maintaining compliance with all the federal regulations instituted by the TSA. In my only job, I began as a warehouse dock-hand and achieved the highest level job of District Mgr in only 10 years.
