This was accomplished through management involvement and improved work procedures. • Cost avoidance - Fought the Washington bureaucratic nightmare and won the elimination of Section 201 anti-dumping duties on steel imported from Europe saving over $3,000,000 and more importantly the business (01) • Customer Support – Orchestrated over seven years of greater than 99% on-time customer deliveries (99, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05). • Purchasing – Leveraged steel procurement that achieved a $2,000,000 savings by developing new supply chain management initiatives.
