Dear Sirs , My name is Imad Rafie , below please find a small introduction about my professional capabilities : In charge of the corporate function/activity of the QA/R&D department for Gandour group of companies with factories around the globe in Lebanon , Saudi Arabia , Egypt , Malaysia , China and India . Under this capacity , have started and implemented major quality systems ( ISO 9001-2000 ) and was involved in setting up and developing the R&D process . Had the chance to participate and play a major role in the development process and start up of the majority of Gandour core products over the past 16 years as well as setting up and commissioning 3 new factories for Gandour as well as a big number of factories and line extensions . Highly experienced in the R&D process starting from concept initiation to scaling up and commercialization . Highly knowlegeable in product formulation , machineability , ingredients functionality and interaction . Very well involved and uptodate with the latest developments in the field of confectionery industry including technical solutions and machinery . In constant contact with major ingredients and machine suppliers like ADM , Cargill , Gum Base co. , Sollich , etc. to name few of them . High ability to understand business needs and particularities along with diversity . Have a concentrated knowledge in " Chocolate , Biscuits , Wafers ,cakes , Caramels , Nougats , Hard & Soft candy , Bubble & Chewing gum , Gum Base production , Juices ". Combining both very high managerial and technical skills make me highly confident of my abilities to blend in and run the operation of any fast moving and demanding multinational corporate .
