My skills include all Molecular biology, cell culture and immunotechniques. During my Majors in Cellular and Molecular Biology, I have done a project on “Effect of Pomegranate extracts on ovarian cancer cell lines in vitro”, I was able to find the effect and monitor the cancer cells successfully. Worked on MTT assay, Invasion assay, Soft agar assay, Apoptotic assays (protein purification and assay). Molecular cloning and PCR is used in “Detection of co infection of ticks with micro filarial nematodes using PCR”, which was my research project during masters’ under the guidance of PI: Dr. Eva Sapi. May 2007 Volunteer: Member of the organizing committee for Lyme Conference- May 2007 at University of New Haven. 2005 Mini project: Mini project on “Biological detoxification of phenols by immobilized cross linked peroxidase enzyme”. Got a consolation prize for it. In addition a mini project on Medicinal Wine from Garlic.
