Highlights: |
As a high school student, I appeared as an on-air panelist on Manhattan’s Metro Channel, where I prepared show segments, formulated questions and interviewed a variety of celebrities. I was a regular contributor to several renowned music industry websites, where I wrote the monthly newsletters, reviewed albums and conducted interviews. While in college at Northeastern University, I continued to write for these websites as well as for my school newspaper, The Northeastern News. I also participated in my university’s award-winning co-op program. In both cases, I continued to work for the companies after my original six-month program had been successfully completed. During this time, I took a serious interest in preventative health care and nutrition. Throughout my senior year, I commuted to New York to attend the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, in partnership with Columbia University. I received my BA in journalism and my license in health counseling at the same time, enabling me to enter into several entrepreneurial ventures focused around health counseling and communications. I also took part in a program developed for Integrative Nutrition’s most successful graduates, during which time I acted as a mentor and health counselor to current students of the school, and attended international advanced training business conferences. I also have three degrees in energy-work using Reiki and Radiance, and have a popular monthly health and wellness newsletter. |
