CollapseResponsibilities

? Manage a team of developers who maintain all IT functions for the entire organization: The team supports every business function in the organization. They are also responsible for handling inquiries from the Home Office in Japan. They have a wide range of skills including but not limited to Microsoft .NET, JAVA, MQ Series, Visual Basic, and the Mainframe. ? Manage Vendors and Outsourced Staff: The IT organization also utilizes many vendor products and uses outsourcing for some of the development. I am responsible for managing this in addition to the development that is done in-house. ? Implemented a Project Framework: Worked with the PMO to establish a project framework that is used throughout the entire project lifecycle. ? Participated in a Drafts Payable Task force to minimize open items: The task force was tasked to optimize the Drafts Payable procedures to improve the effectiveness & efficiency of the process to have less than 1000 open items (beyond 90days). The steps taken to re-engineer this process became the guidelines used to re-engineer other weak processes. ? Became Certified in ITIL Foundations: Took the ITIL Foundation certification and worked with many process owners in developing ITIL processes. I was nominated to be the Subject Matter Expert for the Change Management, Release Management, and Configuration Management processes. ? Instrumental in Implementing Microsoft Project Server and Time Sheet Accounting: Developed procedures using Project Server to be able to manage Resources. This allowed the department to be able to better estimate the target date for project deliverables.
