As a Web editor / Multi-media subject matter expert I have many talents and opportunity to offer in term of the new leading edge technology like Web 2.0, such as blogs, wiki, podcast, discussion forum and social community. Many of these new leading edge technologies have been implemented in my daily and personal work. For example, I’ve setup and design a wiki site from wetpait.com for our marketing coordinators so they can make use of wiki to collaborate with each others. Discuss forum and podcast are use on our intranet. I provide and contribute to them as necessary. Blogs and social community I’m personally utilized it on my own personal time.
Over the past five years I’ve been keeping abreast on the latest web technologies & methodologies. I’ve attended five consecutive major web related conferences from (formerly Macromedia MAX) Adobe MAX conferences to Web 2.0 conference. Other conferences and Expo I’ve attended were Content Week 2006 and Videomaker Expo. Attending these conferences helps me stay connected with people I know, stay current with the latest and greatest information that industry pundits are willing to share.
