CollapseResponsibilities

- Responsible for managing multiple injection-molded product lines of consumer appliances and automotive components from customer award to PPAP approval. - Maintains Open Action Item Deck (OAID) for each program that identifies and documents customer’s critical dates, team member’s responsibilities, and program milestones over the entire project. - Participates in daily reviews of messages/emails of information of each program from overseas suppliers and toolmakers and responds to any requests. - Leads OAID reviews with customers on a weekly basis. - Participated in launching GM Plating Certification qualification of China manufacturing supplier. - Reviews PPAP documentation prior to submission from the customer. - Provides weekly program updates to CEO and divisional managers. - Responsible for product management and development of Automotive Engine Control Modules (ECM) supplied to Delphi Delco Electronics System for General Motors. - Experience with processes including injection molding, aluminum die-casting, metal forming and stamping, and electroplating. - Experience with technologies including silicone adhesive systems, capacitive filtering, and the application of flex circuitry. - Responsible for providing project design documentation following the Molex new product development process in accordance with ISO-9001 and TS 16949 guidelines. - Designed and developed subcomponents for ECM based on cost effective, continuous improvements, and adaptation into an automated assembly line. - Team leader on problem solving analysis for internal product validation failures, customer quality notifications, and manufacturing fallout. - Main engineering contact between management, manufacturing, customers, and vendors.
