As a camera assistant, It is my sole responsibility to assure that all camera operators are equipped with what they need in order to keep the production moving. In addition, keeping producers and directors happy by setting up monitors and ensuring the picture quality is perfect.
Aside from camera, as a Teleprompter Operator it is crucial that I have close contact with script writers and supervisors to ensure accurate copy and a seamless production as a result.
It is also important to create a relationship with the on-camera talent to make them feel as comfortable as possible while they are reading, once again helping to move things along smoothly.
