Accomplishments
Highlights:
Four years technical experience with the US Air Force including a mix of field and central office work. Field work included installation and troubleshooting with various types of phones, equipment, and PBX systems. Central Office work was centered on provisioning and installing telephone lines, line cards (in the Northern Telecom DMS/MSL switch), DSX work, running jumpers on the frame, etc. Seven years to present with the same company (which started as Adelphia Business Solutions, changed to TelCove after bankruptcy, and was purchased by Level 3 Communications). 5 Years as a Switch Installation Technician - focus on DS0 and DS1 level (up to DS3) provisioning, design, testing, and installation in the Lucent 5ESS switch. 1 year as the Supervisor of my former group - interviewing new employees, completing hire paperwork, performing reviews and setting compensation rates for my former peers, etc. After our acquisition, I took an offer to join an Integration Team, where I have served as the fTelCove subject matter expert and received training in multiple provisioning systems (from acquired companies) to help enable work during the transition to a single system for all companies.Companies I like:
