Description
I have owned my own business and know the effect of listening to the customer, considering their input, discussing with a panel and going back to Customer Service and Marketing to meet the clients goals and hopefully sell them more (in innovation) than they intended and then see the sale through.

Accomplishments
Highlights:
I have had many career highlights and probably could not pick out one over the other. I will say this...I feel in my heart that every position I have taken and worked has been a highlight for me and I can honestly say that I have not failed at one of them.Companies I like:
IKEA, The Sun Times (I have a great idea for a new weekly or daily column), and possibly Wild Oats.

Responsibilities
At Robinson Siding & Windows, I ran the business. The owner was getting ready to retire, and has, and I was left to market the business, by newspaper ads, and telemarketers, I negotiated price for inventory for the jobs procured under my management and I set a budget for the owner on his American Express that saved him somewhere around $300.00 per quarter.
I also as a second job with Hometown Rentals and Aquisitions, was responsible for renting out high end twon homes recently built in a remote area of Charleston, IL. There were several, if not more, faults in the design and building of the townhouses so I had to be creative and remedy these faults, turning them into assets on a tight budget. It took me 2 month to get the work done and less than 6 months to get all 12 units leased.
