I possess a very strong desire to help our youth to remove their "blinders" and to experience the positive oportunities that life offers. I am a firm believer in Higher Education, and I strive to motivate "our future" to strive for nothing but success.

Highlights:

Kent State- I teach an Academic Skills and Success course to incoming Freshman Students whose ultimate goal is to successfully complete all course requirements and graduate from college. My duty is to teach them the strategies that will lead and guide them to the path of success. Akron University- I am an Educational Assistant with the Educational Talent Search Program. I work with students in the Akron Public Middle and High Schools. My duty is to promote and ecourage our students to pursue Higher Education, and enable them to know that "ETS" will continue to be a resource as well as an aid to their future success.

I am presently responsible for being the liason between the Akron Board of Education, parents, students and falculty members within our Educational Talent Search Program. I am responsible for tracking students' grades, tests (ACT, SAT, OGT), Attend our E.T.S. sponsored field trips, Assist with after school tutorials at the University of Akron, Keep data on our H drive of students pre and post test scores, Council students by allowing them to vent and express their frustrations, Transform pestimistic attitudes with optimism, Strive to create leaders.
