Highlights:

I was responsible for manufacturing operations of five divisions that manufactured flexo, gravure, offset and embossing machines to manufacture paper, specialty coatings, printing, packaging, and building construction materials. Machines that were complete units or part of an integral part of a line, to produce materials such as garage doors and building panels, or can be utilized as a stand alone embosser to run either coil or sheet metals in a variety of widths and gauges. Pamarco's Anilox, Embossing, and Fluid Metering equipment was custom designed for many applications with loads ranging from 20 tons to 400 tons. I have been with two metal fabrication companies National Manufacturing and Delafoil. These companies were purchased by an investment group. I was responsible for managing the restructuring and re-engineering to improve capabilities and to decrease manufacturing cost. In the interim until I find full time employment, I’m part of a consulting group called Basic Resolutions which provides sale and marketing along with engineering and manufacturing development assistance. My career history includes Plant Manager of Von Roll, VP of Manufacturing at Pamarco In., National and Delafoil. Engineering and Production Manager at Fitchburg Coated Products. Director of Technical Operations at Gemark Service Corp. Positons at Polychrome were Process Engineering to Manufacturing Management positions to Corporate Project Engineering Manager. My greatest strengths are: Ability to determine process improvement requirements. Problem Solver Innovator Technology familiar with various industries. Resource Development Project Planning Capability Multi-Disciplined Focused Implementation Leadership Skills Coating expertise Metal Fabrication expertise Facilitator Complete Turnkey Responsibilities Typical examples of how I have used my strengths are: Went into a company that was acquired. Investigated existing manufacturing process. From evaluation of process, came up with method to reduce WIP from $1.2MM to $0MM utilizing cell manufacturing techniques. Project manager for a $13MM of a $65MM projects. Responsible for getting the process design, required resources, related material, and equipment within a certain time frame to have constructed and operational a WCM Lithographic Aluminum Plate Manufacturing Plant. Reduce operating expenses by $320,000 of a $16MM in sales company by restructuring management level organization. Increasing responsibility and growth for new organization. Initiated development programs such as Quality Control Circles, employee empowerment, cross-functional training, and skill assessment programs. These programs resulted in efficiency improvements of over 35% and a higher direct to indirect ratio. Increased capacity by 66% by restructuring operation layout and schedule. Reduce manufacturing cost by 8% by focusing on 10 Key Quality Indicators and implementing communication, process improvement projects, and rewards programs. Molded project teams with diverse technical, cultural, language, and skill levels to complete tasks to or better than plan. Two Greenfield startup projects. Three restructuring/reengineering projects though company acquisition. Two plant closures due to operation consolidation. Selected by company shareholders to go into two acquired companies in a operations management function, put together and implement a manufacturing plan, to restructure and reengineer, to reduce raw material purchasing by 27%, direct labor cost by 8%, indirect labor cost by 24%, and increase capacity by 35%.
