Highlights:

I am a recent college graduate, so this really is difficult for me to comment on. Even though I have had full-time jobs, I would not call them career highlights, as I would like to think my career is yet to begin. However, one highlight was when I was a manager at a certain retail company and my boss called me to tell me for labor day weekend I had better sales numbers in my store then any other store in the Northeast, that was more exciting then anything.

One major responsibility was being in charge of hiring. I knew that I had to hire people that would reflect the companies best interest while also finding a correct fit for my close knit staff. The people that are working for a company define that company, whether in a lower position or higher up, they all form the company. Also, having to create energy and motiviation with my staff also had a great deal of significant impact on the company; if my staff was not motivated to sell, then how would the company make money? I knew that by creating fun ways to have my staff sell more I would be benefiting the company.
