Responsibilities
First, when I worked as a diet aide in the department, I checked the food trays for accuracy as they were being assembled. It was important to make sure that what was on that tray, was allowed on that patient's diet. Second, when delivering patient trays, it is necessary to check the name so the patient receives the correct tray and is able to eat.
