  • As church secretary, I was responsible for weekly church bulletins and monthly church newsletters. Provided clerical support to pastor, committees, Sunday School Teachers, and Deacon Board. Typed correspondence, maintained files, kept records of attendance. Ordered office supplies, as well as supplies for Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. On weekly basis, I used copier, cutter, and folding machine to prepare bulletins. As needed, sent out Telephone-Tree Messages to church members. Was responsible for keeping records of church enrollment, and at the end of the church year reported that information to the Baptist Association. Designed fliers and forms for various church activities and committees. Emailed special events to local newspaper and Christian radio stations. Am proficient in Microsoft Word, with some knowledge of Outlook and Excel. Have strong organizational skills, am multi-task oriented, efficient, able to work independently and unsupervised.
