Responsibilities
•Management: Orientation, continuing competencies of all nursing personnel, employment of and discharging of nursing personnel as well as needed disciplines, scheduling of nursing personnel, and coordinating evaluations of nursing personnel, and budgets. Wound management, with responsibility of all health care management of the residents of the unit. Documentation on all occurrences of incidents and other occurrences which impacted the daily lives of the residents living on my unit. Supervised and managed approx. 35 employees, for my unit, as well as any employees that would float onto my unit to work. Would participate in care for my residents when needed, if time was falling behind and an extra pair of hands was needed to fill the gab.
