Internet and new media savvy, I developed www.vegtv.com a syndicated website that has been online and streaming video since 1999. Veg TV is an advertiser supported website offering in-stream TV style commercials, product placement, and banners. Responsibilities include writing, producing, hosting, editing, and streaming hundreds of videos. In addition to marketing and ad sales, both traditional and online, my experience includes account management for Time, Inc. In that position, I interacted with educators and was responsible for new business development in the secondary and college marketplace in the U.S. and Canada. The Time Education Program was marketed to Social Studies and ESL department administrators and faculty. Time magazine was used as a textbook and packaged with various resources, such as teacher’s guide and weekly quiz, videos, contests and other materials.
