Highlights:

Established within six months, the environmental department, achieved regulatory compliance, and trained employees such that the Division went from last to first place in the Corporation following auditing. As a result of this action, earned a 25% salary increase. Effected procedural changes in the management of office staff, improving morale, product quality, and secured the appreciation of the Director for providing effective, efficient management approaches which allowed him to pursue other office objectives knowing day-to-day office operation was accomplished in a cordial yet productive manner. Received a significant promotion and salary increase. Implemented a management procedure which recognized the potential and abilities of all personnel, consequently becoming a surrogate manager complimenting the Office Supervisor’s talents and abilities, and created a positive change in morale, productivity, and creative thinking. Saved the Corporation a proposed environmental noncompliance fine of $750,000 and possible equipment expenditure of over $1,000,000 by using effective research, innovative permitting techniques, convincing documentation, and persuasive liaison. Utilized research abilities, factual and no nonsense presentation, and initiated essential follow-up to guide and direct the de-listing of facility co-products saving millions of dollars in disposal costs. This, despite admonitions from counsel and consultants the methodology would prove ineffective. Identified serious permit non-compliances. Achieved compliance and the preparation of necessary documents by assembling, analyzing, collating, and formatting three years of environmental data within one month of my beginning the position thereby successfully and with no noted deficiencies passing an agency inspection. Employed my knowledge of chemistry, engineering, construction, and leadership skills and abilities toward the testing, design, and implementation of a treatment facility to remove adverse impact to an endangered species thus eliminating possible penalties from regulatory agencies, detrimental public perception, and negative impact to plant production processes.
