Description
E-Plus is the 3rd largest mobile operator in Germany and its products include prepaid and contract cards, voice, SMS, mobile data and phones targeted towards private and business users. The user provisioning takes place through the following applications:
KUBIS ("Kunden Betreuungs- und Information System"): The customer care and information system Kubis is the central tool of the customer management. Kubis supported the call center agents in its central role as interface to the customer. The goal is the increase of the satisfaction of the customers by the fast, efficient and controlled treatment of its inquiries.
TAS (Teilnehmer Aktivierung Systeme): TAS is the activation system used for activating new subscribers for E-plus. When a new subscriber comes, the registration form is being entered in TAS.
BSCS (Business Support & Control System): BSCS is the central account system of E-plus, for E-plus customer, which contains all customer calculations and customer data of the customer of E-plus service.
CASS/NO (Customer Administration Service System/Network Operator): CASS-NO is a billing system used by E-plus n/w provider by which it can bill to different service provider ( like E-plus Service provider,Debitel etc) for using it‘s n/w. If usage is by E-plus service provider, then data are being sent to BSCS from CASS-NO, else sent to corresponding service providers. CASS-NO also act as the interface between KUBIS and Network system.
EAI (Enterprise Application integration): The interfaces between different applications in E-Plus systems are standardized and minimized by a “Enterprise Application integration” (EAI) infrastructure as Middleware.
