Special Order Desk: Liaison between store associates and vendors, vendor notifies me that an order was entered incorrectly by the associate and what was incorrect. I then cancel the order in our system.Send cancel notice to vendor, verifying receipt of cancel notice due to incorrect information. Send the store associate a fax telling them the order was canceled and why. Also what information was incorrect and what to enter to correct the order. Also track orders for the store associate, letting them know when the order shipped and when they can expect it to arrive at the warehouse. I also contact the dispatcher to verify if trailer has arrived and when it will be off loaded & checked in. I then notify the store associate who notifies the customer to call customer service set delivery of the merchandise.
