FEMA Related I was deployed by Vanguard in the FEMA backed emergency recovery Assistance program in the recent Florida disaster. I inspected housing according to FEMA guidelines, recorded inspection results on a computer, and uploaded the results of the inspection to a central computer. I represented the state in a FEMA backed assistance project in the Virgin Islands. I was acknowledged by the FEMA individual in charge of this Project to my supervisors as doing an exceptional job in resolving conflicts with applicants. I do a full inspection of a structure however, I do not have damage reporting responsibility for the home. My primary responsibility to observe the inspector and contractor that are inspecting the structure and assure they are doing a proper inspection. I write a report and submit it to management. In addition to my inspection duties, I was part of the Complaint Resolution Team where I try to resolve any complaint a homeowner may have with a contractor. I am particularly qualified for this as I have been licensed by the State legal Bar of Texas in mediation and have held many mediations. I was deployed in Minnesota as a Program Delivery Manager (PDMG). I handled 24 applicants and 46 projects. I have several letters of recommendation from my superiors as being the highest producer on the disaster.
