Jefferson has provided design project management expertise to leading companies, solving complex problems providing solutions for new construction, and conversion projects, from project tracking, design and establishing corporate standards, and processes for owners and general construction companies increasing quality and reducing risk. Using the latest technology and industry planning tools leading a forward way of thinking changing the way we do business for a result orientated solution. Recognized by owners and franchisees in the industry as a pioneer who has experience in a variety of building types, specifically Hospitality from the Luxury tier to Select Service to, Retail, High-end Residential, Apartment buildings, Hospitals, Cinema Complexes, Convention Centers, Commercial buildings, large multi-use projects and the award-winning Texas Rangers Baseball Park Stadium. Developed the first LEED Volume Program in the Hospitality Industry. Led sustainable green buildings efforts and directed Architecture and Project Management at Virgin Hotels and Marriott International reducing project operational cost by use of life cycle cost analysis and increasing owners net operation income. Directing teams to process LEED application on the design side and for the construction teams moving towards full certification. Skilled at cost analysis creating equity in prototype design and construction excellence. Completed the design development of Richard Branson's Virgin Hotels, a new life-style boutique hotel brand, field management of the first projects in the ground. The first Virgin Hotel developed in Chicago was awarded LEED Gold and the Conde' Nast Traveler Magazine best hotel in America 2016. Responsible for the development and creation of other hotel brands including Marriott's International Fairfield Inn and Suites, and SpringHill Suites. Most recently the development and update of the new image-based design standards for Hard Rock International. Project management responsibilities include budget management of new construction and conversion projects from one-million-dollar spa construction and meeting rooms to 500 million plus large-scale multi-use hotel and convention center projects with a total design service fee of 21 million dollars budget with prime responsibility for all consultants. Currently developed new tracking data base for 82 Hotel and Casino projects in four continents for Hard Rock International capable of delivering multiple reports for Hotel Development, Operations and Design and Construction. Jefferson holds a Master's in Business Administration, a Master's degree in Project Management, as well as a Bachelors degree of Architecture from Virginia Tech. He has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2006 and was awarded the title of LEED Fellow designation in 2018, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Registered National Council Interior Design, NCIDQ, and certified Project Manager by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
