My professional career has been in the healthcare industry to include managing staff for the registration of patients' access into a large urban hospital system. This involved total patient and physician satisfaction as it related to outpatient services. Additionally, I have been a practice/facility manager for groups of physicians. I have performed QA on medical coding auditors who audited facilities for DRG validation and ASC. I have also maintained my credentials as a certified professional coder. In this role it required physician education and clinical documentation improvement.
