Technical Profile * 22+ Years' experience in Database architecture, database administration, system analysis, design, Development & Support of MSSQL family of products from 4.x to 2016 in Production, UAT, QA and Development environments for OLTP, ODS, DW, DM and BI/Reporting systems. * Extensive Experience in Migrating MS SQL Server to current versions from lower versions of MSSQL. * Extensive experience in consolidating database servers thereby saving cost to the company. * Lead project definition, engineering and actual platform development processes using Agile, scrum and/or other related methodologies. * Bringing a keen understanding of automated production systems and a dedicated focus to increase automation and self-service tools. * Determine how to leverage data science, machine learning, and other analytical techniques to offer actionable insights both internally & externally. * Designing, testing and implementing an enterprise Disaster Recovery solution. * Experience in MS SQL Server installation, configuration, performance tuning, setting up and managing replication, log shipping, Availability groups/Always ON, client/server connectivity, query optimization, back-up/recovery, running Database Consistency Checks using DBCC. * Experience in converting logical database design to physical database and also maintaining both the design. * Extensive experience in migrating data from various data sources to SQL Server using SSIS an ETL tool of SQL Server and custom in-house java based metadata driven ETL tool. * Extensive knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems and NoSQL technologies. * Experience with Database Backup, Recovery and Disaster recovery procedures. * Experience in Supporting Huge Databases, Troubleshooting the problems. * Experience in writing, troubleshooting and performance tuning complex Stored Procedures, Triggers, UDFs and Views. * Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
