Description
System oriented HVAC lead design engineer with 41 years experience with a good detailed understanding of what it takes to provide a good HVAC system design to meet project goals and clients' needs. HVAC is an integral part of the building design, and as such HVAC options needs to be developed during conceptual phase. Once the final viable option is selected and accepted, then as it develops through all phases of the project (Schematic-Design Development- Construction Documentation) it requires good coordination with all disciplines, codes / standards, estimates tracking (via consultant), and client reviews prior to issuing final Bid Documents (drawings & specifications). Good coordination, accuracy and content of these documents have always been one of my basic tenets for my HVAC design team. Construction Administration and Commissioning phases are just as important to help ensure design intent is met.
