Results: Achieved substantial cost savings through reduction of supplies used and reduced the time to access test results in the EMR System. * Drug Library Download Automation: As Project Lead, assisted the installation of 1000+ infusion pumps. Worked closely with nursing, network and facilities teams to install network drops in patient rooms adhering to infection control protocol. Facilitated technical assessment of the application, procured a 3rd party data center, and facilitated the build and configuration of the application. Result: Allowed for faster administration of drugs, better controls and improved patient care. * Vendor Selection for Telehealth System: Identified and analyzed the business requirements and searched for vendors that could meet them. Collaborated in writing a Request for Proposal (RFP) & Request for Quotation (RFQ). Facilitated the creation of the evaluation criteria with weighting. Worked with team which consisted of the VP, Associate Chief Medical Officer, VP of Clinical Operations, physicians and IT to evaluate the vendors. Result: Reduced alarm fatigue across multi-facilities that allowed for standardization and the ability for staff to work between hospitals. * Pisces Anesthesia Information Management System Implementation: While serving as data analyst on a project, undertook system administration responsibilities due to internal crisis. Rebuilt the server multiple timed to eliminate bugs in the code. Configured, performed testing and developed training materials. Trained the anesthesiologist, anesthesia assistants, anesthesia services and nurses. Result: Implementation of a system that allowed for electronic documentation and ability to ingest anesthesia machines data into the record.
