Mr. McCullough is a Senior Project/Program Manager and Security Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert with over 20 years of network experience and expertise supporting IT Infrastructure, Networking, and Telecommunication projects from Scope creation through Procurement and closing. He brings extensive project management expertise supporting Network Infrastructure and Network/IT Security environments and he has developed and implemented network service strategic plans for multiple business groups. He is well-versed in IT Security, ITIL, Network Infrastructure technical terminology and has experience with technologies including VoIP Platforms, switches and routers, firewalls, communication protocols, and load balancers. Experience in customer-facing roles, experience managing large-scale projects and initiatives from start to finish with proven success, experience working collaboratively on cross-functional, and highly collaborative teams. Sterling has an extensive background in IT Security, architecture, data, database technologies, data loss prevention, vendor risk management and development. While working on Government Emergency Preparedness, Sterling managed projects that would reroute voice and data traffic in areas that would help with the mitigation of hazards, including earthquake, flood, hurricane and tornados. Sterling managed in startup environments and delivered projects with and without an SDLC component. He has mentored staff members on his expertise, and he is skilled at communicating effectively with Business Units, Managers, Directors and VPs. Sterling is a proven leader with strong organizational skills who can work effectively in a team environment or as an individual contributor. He has worked as an Delivery Manager, Implementation Manager and Technical Manager in some previous IT and Engineering roles.
