I have worked on my own or with employers in the design and construction fields for most of my career. I have been both a team member and a team leader and have acquired project and personnel management experience that has spanned thirty years. My experience has included management of healthcare, commercial, residential, education and government projects in design in my early years to Construction and Construction Management in recent years. I feel that, over the course of my career, I have sharpened my Construction Management and Business skills and, consequently, my professional development. I have concentrated on project acquisition through bid and cost estimating in both the Design and Construction fields. I have practiced these skills with various programs, processes and information. This has included preparing, reading and interpreting construction blueprints, both manually and electronically, to complete "take off" quantities of items need in order to prepare estimates. I have a good knowledge of the local economy, and believe that I have a feel for the pulse of the construction industry in the Central Texas Region with regard to labor and materials. This has come from years of coordination and working alongside with Sub-contractors and General Contractors in the area. I am hard working, educated, very detail oriented, mature, dedicated and resourceful. I always have a positive outlook and pride myself on my independent good judgment. My is to succeed as an individual in my areas of expertise and assist in a company's success as an integral and consistent part of a company that is growing.
