(EDTEC), Camden, NJ 1985 to 2011 (One of the nation's leading providers of quality management consulting, entrepreneurial training, economic development, and information technology programs.) Chief Executive Officer Co-founded this highly successful management consulting and training firm with a diverse client base of governmental agencies, public and private organizations, educational institutions, and community groups. Played a key role in establishing a vision, business culture, and short and long-range strategic plans and goals. Executed initiatives that paved the way to revenues approaching $3 million. Recruited and managed as many as 10 professional staff, and several independent contractors. Contracted with the New Jersey State Employment Commission to evaluate the success of welfare recipients using the One Stop Career Centers in obtaining employment. Juvenile Resources Center (currently Camden Center for Youth), Camden, NJ 1980 to 1985 Deputy Executive Director Addressed social, educational, and underlying emotional issues of juvenile offenders and school drop-outs. Collaborated with parents, law enforcement officials, and a treatment team to tailor realistic goals and behavior modification plans to strengthen clients' chances for a positive outcome.
