Program Manager: Seeking a position in the field of Engineering as a Program Manager. Implement Program Management processes and tools by contributing to the process and providing guidelines to support the projects. Assist the Planning Department in developing project proposals, job estimates and schedules. Maintain overall responsibility of project budgets and schedules to ensure project completion is "On time and On schedule". * Able to assist with responsibilities assigned directly to the Project Manager by contributing input to Senior Leadership as a recommendation to who should make up the Project Team. * Able to assemble, plan, lead and facilitate regular, cross-functional Project Team meetings with company personnel, our Subcontractors, and with representatives from our customers and the U.S. Navy. * 31 years of experience in an environment related to Naval ship repair and modernization ship operations. * I 8 years' experience in ship repair in regards to ship- fitting, project management, contracting, estimating, planning and quality assurance. * Strong verbal/written communication and business skills * Knowledgeable in company accounting software and all related enterprise systems * Knowledgeable experience of engineering principals, methods, and procedures. * Experience relating to the development, improvement, consolidation and modernization of industrial facilities including arrangement, space utilization, equipment, utilities, and tools * Excellent knowledge in availability planning and execution including writing and packaging work specifications utilizing NMD-r, JFMM Appendix 4-E and various other systems. * Very knowledgeable in shipboard structural repair, modification and alteration. * Experienced in coordination of ship repair and alteration work between government and contractor utilizing Work Specification Items, Work Notifications and work estimate forms to ensure plan execution meets cost performance and ships schedule requirements. * Review project management material issues and lessons learned and gather similar data from current projects for future reference. * Provide technical guidance for preparation of lists on drawings required to execute complex projects * Provide direction for the procurement of special material and services associate with projects. * Act as a troubleshooter in the identification and resolution of problems encountered during waterfront production efforts.
