I have traveled and worked on numerous overlapping time schedules projects for Panhandle Eastern Natural Gas Pipeline (16 years) and Illinois American Water Company (8 years) and various construction companies (15 years). I have two degrees, a BS Degree (Human Resource Development and Management) and an AAS Degree (Architectural Drafting and Construction Management). I have had extensive experience as an Engineering Operations Specialist (Construction Manager) for fifteen years, as a Natural Gas Pipeline Supervisor for six years, as an Automation Controls Technician for six years, and nine years as a Senior Engineering Construction Technician (Construction Manager). My background also includes duties as acting as a Team Facilitator/Coach/ Counselor for the past thirty plus years with self-directing work teams, Human Resource Generalist experience and I am computer literate in First Choice/ Word Perfect/ Microsoft/ Lotus 1-2-3/JDE/Lotus Notes. My personal management philosophy is that of a socio-technical system using its nine principles. A process must be compatible with its objectives keep employees free rather than constrained people using or working with an objective must have input into its design training and cross training of all disciplines is critical bridge departmental boundaries so they are less abstracts free flow of information to all levels of the organization reward creativity stay focused on the tasks but keep in mind the human factors of your work force and lastly put together multifunctional, multilevel, multidisciplinary teams that will be able to move from job to job.
