Graduated from Albany College of Pharmacy with a B.S. in pharmacy in 1991 _ Subsequently, obtained Ph.D. from the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology from SUNY at Buffalo in 1997. Completed post doctorate work and was granted a Research Assistant Professorship at SUNY. Served as Director of Pharmacy at two different hospitals one in New York and one in Pennsyivania. Built both pharmacies from the ground up and received Delaware Valley Medication Safety Award while in Pennsylvania.
