Twenty (20)+ years of progressive career in both US and International working environment, with 15 years of which are in leadership and staff development role including strategic planning, executive decision making, change management, risk management, IPO application, business mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, global and inter-regional coordination and management of 3rd party providers and external auditors and core accounting and finance related activities. Extensive experience in inter-department and cross-functional coordination (FP&A, legal, treasury, tax, internal audit and compliance, etc) and project planning. * Extensive experience in public and corporate accounting, both public and private sector and following IFRS, US GAAP and GASB. Manage highly technical accounting issues such as new revenue (IFRS 15/ASC 606) and lease (IFRS 16/ASC 842) accounting, financial instruments and hedge accounting, AR securitization, supply chain financing, business acquisitions (including ASC 805/ASU 2017-01) and business combinations under common control, impairment, transfer pricing, accounting estimates and contingencies, income taxes, materiality in financial reporting, related party transactions, etc. * Change Management - provide leadership and guidance in numerous changes within the Corporate Accounting, IPO Readiness, M&A, diversification and business Integrations, preparation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and Business Continuity Projects, conducting back up and cross-functional trainings, etc. * Working experience in various industries (i.e. consumer products, food and beverage, manufacturing, retail and distribution, oil and energy, not for profit, government, etc.) involving different areas of finance, accounting and financial reporting (i.e. SOX 404, ICOFR, internal controls, month end closing and consolidation, FP&A, Ad hoc reporting, budget and forecast, long term business plan, SEC reporting requirements - Form 8-K, Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, S-8, Form F-1/S-1, PCAOB audits, etc.) and non for profit and government reporting and compliance (A - 133, HUD, etc). * International working experience - 10+ years on site visits and review of foreign entities, active interaction and coordination with US and international counterparts. * Lead the establishment and restructuring of the financial reporting process of Philadelphia Housing Authority (4th largest housing authority in the US), Sonepar USA, a major electrical distribution companies in North America, and Kestone Foods (as part of IPO readiness). Initiate various cost cutting measures resulting to operational efficiency and cost savings.
