Description
Over 18+ years of enterprise level systems administration/engineering experience in design, architecture, implementation and post production support in a geographically distributed data center environment. Working with technical teams in different groups, install config, help DBA's with production install, upgrade, maintenance, tune and synchronize various production servers such as Provisioning/Jumpstart Unix and Linux servers, Build/configure Cluster server, proficient with High Performance Computing servers (RedHat GFS2 and Ganglia), Java application server Tomcat/WebLogic/Jboss, Apache, OpenSSL and PHP configuration. Strong hands on experience with Amazon Web ( EC2, S3, Amazon VPC, CloudWatch). Strong hands on Virtualization with VMWARE (vCenter, vSphere ESX/ESXi), KVM. Excellent knowledge with HA/Clustering. Proficient in Linux RedHat/CentOS, Debian and Unix (Solaris), Shell and Perl scripting. Certified RHCSA, RHCE. Strong knowledge of Raid, Logical Volume Manager( manage, extend, reduce filesystems). Strong working experience with Apache (virtual hosts) and Java Applications (Jboss, Tomcat, WebLogic). Strong knowledge of DNS, NFS, TCP/IP, Postfix/SMTP, SSH, Splunk, OSSEC and Virtual Hosting on Apache webserver as well as Apache with SSL. Proficient in SAN EMC CX3-40, CX4-80 and VNX 5300 series from EMC, Data domain, Network Appliance F900 and Brocade Switch (Silkworm). Solid understanding of Unix security. Hands on PCI/SOX compliance validation systems. Strong knowledge of configuration management (Puppet) and Ansible, PXE boot Kickstart, RedHat satellite server to centralize the software packages (RedHat, CentOS repositories). Strong knowledge of backup solutions (Legato/Networker and NetBackup).
