Key responsibilities: Plastics Production & quality Managing quality team Head * Handling effective Production in Injection moulding, blow moulding blown film extrusion various Indian & imported m/c in production effectively and reduction of wastage * Managing quality control & quality assurance, Quality system management production, planning & control, waste management control, effective scrap reduction, improving productivity. * Customer complaint handling, root cause analysis & CAPA. * Customer intervention for quality feedbacks & reviews with major customers like Colgate, HUL, J&J, P&G, L'Oreal and other cosmetic and laminated tubes customers. Managing Flexible packaging - Research & Development * Flexible packaging: roto gravure, solvent less, solvent based, lamination, slitting, speciality pouching m/c-with BOPP, PET, M-PET, Foil based pouching, bar coding lines, high speed slitting, sheet and pouching lines. * Handled 6 units with about 700 employees. * Quality system management Managing Tubes lamination & Seam less tubes * Production output efficiency and wastage managed on Blown film, Extrusion coating slitting uv - printing * Pipe extrusion, shoulder formulation, printing, Decoration. packaging controlling wastage and new development of tubes. * Supplier management/vendor development, vendor QMS audits & qualification activities for all Indian units, new development of materials. * Monthly data preparation, Paretto analysis, fish bone analysis, etc. * Worked with various machines- German blown film, Taiwan Bornamate, Tandem extrusion Sumutiom, Korian, (tandam) 8 colour printing flexible line unit Rotomak, Kamf slitting machine, Letterpress 10 UV printing, Graphic set up printing pre-press, 15 lines Tube Making -KMK, PSG AISA, 20- lines Hinterkof Breyer, 5 (coe.extruder lines) line imported labelling lines, Hot Foil etc. Testing * Testing performed: MFI testing for polymers, chloroform test, flip opening & closing test, sun fastness test, burst strength test, moisture content test, drop test, bar code testing, profile testing, air & water leakage test, graphite powder test, rub resistance test, torque test, stress crack resistance test, dart impact, haze, opacity testing, spectrophotometer testing, etc. * SAP (Production, quality and MM module). Research & Development creativity &Innovation * Research & development for use of recyclable plastics in GO- GREEN projects. * Managing R&D lab, new products as per company and customization, for beneficial development of company. * Company MR (management representative) for external audits, customer audits, supplier audits and company certifications. * FDA requirements and documentation & DMF (Drug Master File) preparation for WADA/ Vasind Murbad, units for US FDA. creativity & Innovation * Head OF creativity & innovation- for product development, Quality system standatidation on HOD for multiple units across various locations.
