Developed and initiated process improvements that resulted in the achievement of ACE "Gold" level certification for "Best in Class" performance (ACE revolves around the three principle categories of process improvement and waste elimination tools, decision-making tools, and problem solving tools) * Achieved 101% cumulative production annual schedule attainment in 2011. * Created a Brazer Training System enabling the department to run efficiently when impacted by staffing issues such as absenteeism or turnover. * Re-energized a struggling 5S program that resulted in improved process flow, employee engagement, machine setup time reductions, improved material handling and flow, and improved operator safety and ergonomics.
