This job posting is for a Sr Engineering Project Manager that supports production efforts of the Food Group Business Unit by providing project management leadership. This role is accountable for managing multiple complex capital installation projects (typically $2MM - $50MM) across multiple site locations. To implement new or existing equipment, processes to deliver best asset deployment value in a Food Manufacturing Environment. Responsibilities: * Provides Project Management leadership on a Project Team to facilitate design and construction of capital and non-capital projects by planning, directing and delegating work assignments, making purchasing decisions, scheduling, etc. * Responsible for managing multimillion dollars of Simplot capital investment cost, along with delivering on critical schedule and performance for capital project solutions. * Responsible for leading the effective communication of project updates to senior management and key stakeholders. * Responsible to clearly understand, review and communicate project cost risks to project team members, stakeholders and leadership * Project Manager is responsible for the team to effectively follow the engineering workflow (from high level concept through detailed execution and start-up) * Accountable for project teams to deliver system quality and performance (hitting rates, speeds, throughputs, efficiencies, etc.) * Directs and accountable for assembling and leading cross-functional teams, scope development, scheduling, equipment specifications, bidding & evaluation, assembling construction bid packages, cost estimating, cost control, gaining alignment with operations and key stakeholders, and providing oversight to construction & start-up activities.
