I am an animation and Modeling specialist passionate about building and bringing my stories to life on the big screen. For the last three years, I've studied every aspect of the 3D film animation industry from building 3D models to Character Animation to UV editing. Using these skills, I have created content and art work that has been viewed by thousands of people around the Blacksburg area. ART AND TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: * Extensive knowledge of Maya modeling software to create realistic props and environments as well as lifelike and fluid human animation, using techniques based on the 12 principles of animation * Experienced in UV editing to build textures and lighting in Renderman and Photoshop * 3D sculpting in Zbrush to create anatomically accurate human forms. * Using Premiere Pro, I have created multiple short films, splicing and combining clips to create a seamless story as well as implementing sound, special effects, and creating motion graphics. * Experience in Unreal engine building and texturing 3D gaming environments. * Photography and filming experience using DSLR and editing in Lightroom and Photoshop * Coding experience in Processing creating motion art SCHOOL EXPERIENCE: 3D Modeling and Animation-Maya, Photoshop Using Maya, I built multiple concept props such as a football helmet, basic furniture as well as large-scale models like a tank up to a city intersection. With these models and environments, I used Photoshop and UV editing to create and apply textures to bring the objects and scenes to life. Renderman I then applied different lighting and texture effects to create dramatic shadows and further accentuate the textures and objects in my scenes. Using these environments, I have then created many animated projects to create my own short films. Senior Exhibition, Character Animation- Maya, Photoshop, Renderman, Premiere Pro April 16th, 2018, I presented my first ever animated short film using premade Character rigs, I animated using key frame so I could manipulate every movement in my characters. I tried to pull the most emotion I could out of facial expression and reaction to tell my story. My film entitled "Daydream" was the presented in a gallery space at Virginia Tech to be viewed by hundreds of fellow students and professors. Videography and Motion Graphics-Premier pro, Photoshop, After Effects Using premiere, I have created multiple films using different filter effects and camera angles to create drama and a story to pull an emotional reaction from the viewer. Then I used knowledge of aftereffects and Photoshop to create motion graphics titles to set the stage for the start of my films. Video Game Design-Maya, Photoshop, Unreal Engine Using Unreal with collaborated from a team of classmates we build an 18-bit side scroll video game complete with changing the environment, multiple characters, combat and explosion animations.
