SPECIFIC ENGINEERING HIGHLIGHTS * Experienced in using high frequency electromagnetic field simulation for coaxial connector modeling using ANSYS HFSS and the use of Network Analyzer (VNA) * Initiated and standardized connector-to-cable design optimization for high-speed signal transmission. * Collaborated with several cable manufactures to redesign cable and lower amplitude and phase instability. * Implemented new packaging of flexible-armor designed to protect coax from crushing and mishandling. * Achieved qualification of many products for the Test & Measurement (T&M) market that operate up to 110GHz for use with major OEM Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) assemblies. * Researched and proposed the design of economical 1mm precision connectors. * Completed the automation of several measurement systems to facilitate higher throughput of testing in a manufacturing environment which resulted in reduction of costs, and added value. * Constructed new automated system to delay match with tight tolerance (+/-0.5ps) in manufacturing environment using Time Domain Reflectometer (TDR) improving yield by 95%. * Mathcad, LabVIEW, ANSYS (HFSS), Minitab (statistical data analyses), Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project proficiency. * Many of the above products that I designed are part of Rosenberger Test and Measurements portfolio (Direct sale to OEM or through distribution).
