Description
Over 13+ years of Software Testing and Quality assurance of Client/Server and Web based applications using Quality Center, UFT, TAF, Mainframe, SunGard products as Investran Accounting. * Proficient experience in Manual and Automated Testing of GUI and functional aspects of the Client-Server and Web based Applications on multiple levels of SDLC and Testing Life Cycle (STLC). * Strong domain experience in Insurance, Investment Banking/Securities, Oil and Gas and Retail. * Worked on Cross Browser testing and have good expertise in testing applications in Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browser. * Experience in writing use case, test cases, and automated scripts & designing Test procedures, Test plan, and Test strategy. * Experience in the ETL testing (Extract, Transform and Load) of data into a data warehouse/data mart. * Performed Testing Life Cycle during the various phases of the application. Involved in converting manual test cases into automated scripts using UFT and TAF. * Experience in analyzing Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) and conversant with System Design Specifications (SDS). * Experience in designing and developing SQL statements and queries in SQL Server 2008 database. * Experience in working Web Services testing-SOAP UI. * Extensively used Quality Center, MTM and TAF to write Test Cases and for reporting. * Extensively uploaded test cases from MS Excel, MS Word to Quality Center and MTM and preparing Quality feedback to QA team & manager. * Strong knowledge of Finance solutions/Security and Oil and Gas domain with emphasis on Business Requirements and Functional Requirements. * Specialized in Test Planning, Analysis of SRS, Functional, Regression and Interrogation testing, responsible for implementing the organizations Automation strategy and framework, Risk Identification & Mitigation Plan, Goal setting and team problem solving in Agile process. * Proficient in Testing methodologies, Test Matrices and Trace matrix. * Extensive experience in Functional testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, GUI testing, Back-end testing, Browser Compatibility testing, Ad-hoc testing, Black Box Testing, System Testing, Build Verification Testing, User Acceptance Testing. * Experience in Bug Tracking System and Process. * Experience in working mainframe system architecture applications in support of accounting, derivatives processing and securities valuation processes. - Mainframe testing. * Working Experience in various SWIFT message MT541, MT542, MT543 used for securities settlement across different asset like equities, fixed income. * Experience in managing Team of size-13+ in Offshore/Onshore models. * Experience in Agile process and Participation in daily agile standups, kick up meetings, test case designs, iteration planning, product demos and application walkthroughs. * Expertise in software development model such as Agile, Waterfall and Iterative. * Good knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint. * Experience in preparing Project Estimates, Quality Metrics, ROI (Return on Investment) and define the strategy to drive the projects. * Strong expertise in Test estimation. Good knowledge of Delphi technique, Three Point technique and WBS technique * Proficient in Defect management, including Defect creation, reporting, modification and tracking using Quality Center (ALM) * Experience in defect tracking tools such as HP ALM (QC) and Bugzilla. * Good Knowledge in writing complex SQL queries and managing data in database tables * Good expertise in working with large team as well as small size teams, working in aggressive timelines, working in Multiple teams in Waterfall and Agile model. * As a QA lead, I supported Performance testing, Load testing and Stress testing * Involved in Formal Code reviews, Peer Review and Walkthroughs * Multitasking, Proactive, Motivated and Quick Learner *
