Engineering: * Experience in all phases of chemical processes manufacturing from Research and Development and Prototypes, to Process Design, Project Economics, Plant Start-up, Process Improvement, Plant Troubleshooting and Process Modeling and Optimization. * Experience with many different chemical industry processes, and with consumer paper products, polypropylene process, utilities requirements and design, bio-waste treatment and other processes. * Process modeling, design basis, scoping design, process design, pilot unit design and operation, process troubleshooting, design of experiments, project management, engineering supervision and training experience. * Extensive computer skills and software use experience including project management, process modeling, databases, spreadsheets, quality software, document and drawing management and use of the Internet. Business, Training, and Quality: * Corporate ISO 9000 Manager for Aristech Chemicals where I lead two plants to ISO 9000 registration and worked with a third plant on quality audits and business process improvement. * Developed and taught general and tailored seminars for ISO 9000, Quality, technical areas, and other computer software. * Training and experience in Total Quality Management, ISO 9000 Registration and program management, Team facilitation, Quality Training, Process Improvement and statistical tools and databases development. * Consulting in business strategy and competitive market position analysis, joint ventures and technology licensing, business processes and process improvement, reengineering, mission development with goal setting and measures development, organization, financial analysis and capital budgeting. Secondary and College Science Education: * Teach at Shelby County R-IV School District as a high school science teacher. I teach Physics First to freshmen, Dual-Credit Physics and Dual-Credit Chemistry through Moberly Area Community College. I am the science team leader. My Physics First classes are lab based and my Dual-Credit Physics classes are engineering project based. I have a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, a Masters in Secondary Science education and I completed the Physics First Fellows program in the Graduate Physics Department at University of Missouri - Columbia. * Teach College Chemistry and Astronomy for Moberly Area Community College.
