I have been working on concerts, game shows, award shows, red carpet shows, daytime and nighttime talk shows, upfronts, competition reality shows, etc. for 24 years. As an Associate Director, some of my duties include calling cues for cameras, video playback, audio, graphics and lighting throughout live performance and rehearsals. Guide on camera hosts through live program via IFB. I work with network operations to get live programs on and off air on time, and in and out of commercial breaks. I interface with all departments of the crew and run through each departments' responsibilities and what is to be expected of them, as well as what to expect from we in the front row of the control truck. I work very well with people and tactfully and effectively guide crews of 50-100 people through all the moving parts of a live broadcast. I interface with Executive Producers and Network Executives to discuss creative and marketing concepts, and how to achieve creative goals and marketing needs. In pre-production, I interface with all departments of the crew and discuss time tables for set-up and change-over of lighting, camera, audio, and scenic elements in order to effectively create load- in, set-up, rehearsal and performance strategies. I also work as a Production Supervisor. As a Production Supervisor, I am the head of the Script Department which is usually made up of 3 to 6 skilled employees. I backtime live shows to get into break and off air on time. I work with producers, tech, lighting and staging departments in order to create a time and cost maximized load-in, set-up and rehearsal schedule. I also keep precise track of show flow, all video, graphic, audio, lighting and scenic elements and cues in a rundown document. I'm very computer savvy and am well skilled in Microsoft Office and other production applications including news production apps. As a Production Supervisor, I am the organizational hub of the production. I am excellent at keeping very large projects well organized and moving smoothly and on schedule. As a Production Supervisor, I've also spent thousands of hours in post-production facilities, editing programs for air, creating graphic looks, and creating and maintaining media databases. I have also worked as a Producer on several shows. On Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed: The Series, I was the Associate Director during principal photography, then the Producer during post-production. In addition to shooting the illusions and reveals in an Associate Director capacity, I was responsible for working with editors to cut segments, deciding which segments best fit together within an episode, recording voice over with artists, supervising final edit and audio sweetening and layback. I've learned many skills in production that I'm confident can help you greatly in a number of positions. Primarily, I'm very well organized on a large project scale I've been dealing with the logistics of production for 24 years I've been working with Executive Producers and Network Executives in Los Angeles and New York for 20 years I've been leading large, highly skilled crews through split second accurate execution of live TV broadcasts for 14 years. Recently, I'm tiring of freelance work and am looking for something more regular. I look forward to meeting with you and discussing the possibility of joining you. Thank you Jesse
