28 + years of experience in aerospace/commercial aviation research, development, qualification and certification working with the Federal Aviation Administration, (FAA), using Federal Aviation Regulation, (FAR)'s, while coordinating with Major Original Equipment Manufacture's, (OEM)'s and First Tier Sub-Tier Suppliers. As the senior engineering manager for mechanical system groups, led the teams through two FAA Type Certificated Aircraft, the Premier 1A, Model 390 and Hawker Horizon, Model 4000. In addition, completed numerous, Supplemental Type Certificates while at Hawker Beechcraft. Vast knowledge of aircraft systems level specification development and integration in the areas of landing gear, brakes, anti-skid, nose gear steering, hydraulics, flight controls, environmental, anti-ice, and other mechanical systems. Worked with supply chain, flowing down system requirements to develop system suppliers through preliminary and critical designs, qualification, ground and flight testing. Worked closely with flight test department developing and performing hundreds of ground and flight tests for certification.
