ACCOMPLISHMENTS Business Development: * Leading Panda Restaurant Group development and growth in Canada. * Spearheaded Panda Express' new prototype restaurant project, which generated revenue at 130% of sales plan index for all new prototype restaurants while managing development cost under plan. * Developed new Retail Business for Panda Express generating $5MM sales in the first year. * Re-designed and managed all aspects of Hibachi-San Japanese concept for Panda Restaurant Group. * Pioneered License business function at PRG through partnership with industry leaders service providers. Project Management: * Launched centralized purchasing program for Hibachi-San concept which resulted in 15% COGS savings. * Launched well-received BOH uniform program, which received NAUMD 2010 image of the year award. * Rolled out new music program. * Implemented digital signage and menuboard. * Led Panda Restaurant Group Guest Insights function by creating the "voice of the guests platform. * Designed new "Speed line" operating platform for Togo's. People Development: * Designed transparent people assessment based on defined competencies for each management level and management performance calibration for Sushi Maki, Decurion and Togo's. Developed Multi Unit Managers, Area Coaches and Directors for all companies that I worked for. * Mentored and coached Guest Relations employees at Panda Restaurant Group resulting in five promotions and 22% increase in productivity. * Mentored and coached seven Area Coaches resulting in turnover reduction from 300% to 65% in a span of three years at Taco Bell. Operations Management: * Led Panda Express Midwest operations in three states and new international division in Canada with $75 MM annual sales. * Oversaw Hibachi-San Japanese concept, a subsidiary of Panda Restaurant Group. Increased 10% SSS and 6% RC. Introduced new products, new recipe manuals, new service procedure, new sushi program, new Tepanyaki concept and increased unit development. * Oversaw one of Taco Bell's largest markets, with upwards of 70 restaurants and $75MM in sales. Provided leadership and coaching to seven regional managers, 140 managers and over 1200 employees. * Managed full operations of Lyon's restaurants largest territory with $38MM in sales. Supervised 45 managers and over 800 employees in 18 restaurants, with AUV $2.1MM.
