Description
Interventional Radiology Department: Inpatient/out patient consults/workups for various interventional procedures: Embolizations, biliary/chole tube drain placements, neph tube placements, thrombolysis, chemo embolizations, TcMAA, liver ablations, fistulagrams, venograms, managed in house pager for IR group. * Working in busy cardiology practice with 7 interventional cardiologists, and 1 EP cardiologist - providing hospital coverage/rounds at 2 hospitals: new cardiac consults, hospital follow ups/discharges. Providing full office coverage independently-medication adjustments/management along with nuclear stress testing, echos and device monitoring. . * Worked with Premier busy EP cardiologist state of Florida- predominately managing cardiac ablation pts, ICDs/PPM follow ups, arrhythmia management, hospital rounding on patients, including new consults, cardiac stress testing, discharging pts. * Supervising cardiac nuclear stress testing, Coumadin clinic, Event/holter monitors, ILR devices * Managing heart failure, CAD/CABG pts, HTN, cardiac arrhythmias, device implant follow-ups * ACLS/BLS certified, EKG/telemetry trained * Over 3 years working in a busy internal medicine practice * Managing/maintaining office while physician out off of office for extended acute illness for about a year. Over 15 years experience as staff/charge RN working critical care in various cardiac units, including emergency room, which averaged 60,000 patient visits per year * Certified as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses * Grand Canyon Nurse Practitioner preceptor
