Description

Maintained network operating systems including DOS Windows 3.1 95 98 NT Windows 2000 including their installation and configuration protocols. * Managed an electronics repair shop and supervised six technicians. * Researched and evaluated electronic classroom requirements to determine an effective upgrade for Navy electronic classrooms. * Contacted vendors for quotes on computer and video equipment and presented recommendations to government officials for procurement of upgrade systems. Installed and configured the following upgrades to Navy electronic classroom hardware Windows NT/2000 server Linux file server dual-bootable computers and video projectors. * Reviewed and revised test procedures and equipment documentation including maintenance and operating procedures and technical drawings. Assisted in the development testing and quality assurance of various training programs in the weapons/combat control area.
