Under the supervision of a preceptor * Provide primary care - comprehensive physical assessments - annual physicals focus visits - Asses diagnose and treat acute illnesses such as infections and injuries * Consult or refer patients to appropriate specialists when conditions exceed the scope of practice or expertise * Health promotion focus including counseling patients about smoking cessation alcohol consumption leading a healthy lifestyle Under the supervision of a preceptor * Manage chronically ill patients - monitoring and management of diabetes hypertension and high cholesterol levels (EHR- eClinicalWorks)
