Load daily incremental data to Events Fact Project Property Analytics Role ETL Developer / Tester Description: The main objective of this project is to increase the business value by monitoring ROI on raw materials/finished products used to support day to day transportation business activities. Through iProcurement web portal CSX buyers performs procurement process like raising request, checking for approvals, vendor details, purchase orders and invoice payments etc. Upon receipt, products are decaled in Sunflower Inventory management system. Purchased products goes through lifecycle events until disposal. Property analytics tracks procurement spend, monitor decaled and undecaled property, research decal numbers, monitor loans and passes, manage asset disposal. Property reports are arranged by: Management, Loans/Property Passes/Repair Passes, Excess/Disposal, Finance, Transfers, and Property Requests. Role & Responsibilities: * Coordinate with ETL team leads on planning the tasks, timelines and escalate the risk/issues during development. * Conduct meeting with Data Modeler, Business Analyst to review the data mart tables, report functional requirements. * Develop STTM High level technical design document capturing business rules and ETL logic. * Develop mappings to load data from excel files used by business to keep track of annual lost property list. * Develop mappings to extract historical data to load dimension & fact data for go-live. * Create Daily incremental load mapping Mapping parameters and parameter file * Create dummy mappings to refresh dimension persistent lookup cache to be used in Fact load. Cost Fact. * Develop workflow handshake mechanism to trigger workflows using event wait decision task. * Add Post SQL to update soft delete and hard delete flags on Dimension records using minus queries. * Create various worklets grouping related Landing sessions Dimensions sessions Facts sessions. Establish decision tasks to create dependencies between multiple sessions. * Support Informatica Admin during upgrade by selecting existing Mappings/Sessions/workflows to be tested on Ver. 10.1 repository. Coordinate with DBA & Informatica admin to identify impacted backend objects such as Database / UNIX scripts /Schedules for required changes. * Verify all the ETL folders & Informatica Objects are in valid conditions after moving objects from Ver. 9.1 repository to Ver. 10.1. Trigger the batch process and troubleshoot any failures related to file read/write/delete errors database connectivity issues slow running jobs workflow/session completion/failure emails. * Develop queries for data validations on Landing Staging & EDW tables to identify data anomalies and technical issues. Deploy (Parm Files Config Files Workflow XML exports Scheduling Scripts UNIX scripts Global functions Script) into SVN as a backup. * Provide inputs to project lead to Estimate the efforts timelines develop and maintain project tasks list. * Coordinate Functional testing with SAP Business Objects Team to verify sample report and dashboard data post upgrade.
